The 2023 edition of the „Destination of the Year” Contest has 9 categories: Inspiring Cities, Realms of History & Traditions, Natural Treasures, Tourist Places, Fun & Adventure Parks, Cultural-Educational Spots, Resort, Boutique, and Gastro-Tourism.
The votes are provided by the public, the jury, and by 3,000 respondents of a sociological research.
There is an award for each category. Furthermore, there will be a Grand Award for the Destination of the Year 2023 in Romania, Destination of the Year 2023 Historical Regions, Emerging Destinations, and Attraction of the Year.
Voting is open on destinatiaanului.ro until April 7th. The 2023 Awards Gala will take place on April 27th.
