British journalist and film producer Charlie Ottley has obtained Romanian citizenship and is set to take the oath of allegiance on November 6.
The National Authority for Citizenship (ANC) announced that on November 6, a solemn ceremony will be held at its headquarters, during which several foreign nationals who have obtained Romanian citizenship will take the oath of allegiance to Romania. According to the source, the ceremony will also include individuals who have made significant contributions to the promotion of Romanian culture, civilization, and spirituality, such as Charlie Ottley, who has played a remarkable role in promoting the country’s tourism, culture, and natural heritage worldwide, according to Digi24.ro.
