In the near future, vehicular access to Viscri will be limited! It will become the first village in Romania to permanently restrict car access in the village.

Dear villagers and guests, we are very happy to announce that the project that limits the car access in Viscri has obtained the last approval.
In the following weeks, the Municipality of Bunesti will purchase the signs marking the areas with prohibited parking and prohibited access.
Viscri will thus become the first village in Romania and the first Romanian Unesco site to permanently limit car access, following the example of several European towns.
The exceptions are:
– people from the Viscri community
– tourists staying in Viscri, at guesthouses that have private parking inside the yard
– vehicles transporting people with disabilities
